Her Excuse Starting A War

Trump Calls Martha's Apprentice 'A Failure'New York, New York (AHN) - When Martha Stewart's version of 'The Apprentice' went off the air on NBC, the home-living diva says "Having two 'Apprentices' was as unfair to him as it was unfair to me."
Now, the real estate mogul is firing back with a harsh letter to Stewart, saying, "I wish she would be able to take responsibility for her failure." Trump says, "Your performance was terrible in that the show lacked mood, temperament and just about everything a show needs for success."He continues, "I knew it would fail as soon as I first saw it and your low ratings bore me out." Trump adds, "Between your daughter, with her one-word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanor, it never had a chance much as your daytime show is not exactly setting records." (allheadlinenews, 22 Feb 2006)
That's why Martha was getting upset in the beginning of The Martha show aired the other day. I didn't understand, I'm sure many of audiences or viewers didn't too, what she was talking about when she suddenly mentioned "enough is enough!" to his long-time friend, Donald Trump. Now I got it that they have been in nasty battle toward press release. From what I did understand, the problem began from poor ratings on Martha's Apprentice, which sounds insignificant to many of us, but then it turned out to become a big trouble when Trump was somehow saying about personal thing in some media. Umm.. how can they react something like children do? I thought tycoon people behave in a class manner not limited to how they would respond to their enemy.

Seems NBC will produce no more Apprentice in Martha version. Apparently because not many viewers liked this show as they did like Trump version pretty much. Of course it's not a big deal for Martha herself because she can get more focused, at least, on one of her own shows, The Martha today show. Anyhow, how could you say the Kitchen Queen is able to live apart from the kitchen? Never ever I guess..
Ps. The Apprentice - season 5 will be premiered tonight on NBC. I heard they change the format a little bit, such as some candidates are not all local, some are from abroad (Russia, England), Trump's daughter and son will appear being his judges in several shows to replace Carolyn & George. Sounds interesting huh, can't wait!
Simple-But-Important Parenting Lessons
22 February, 2006
"When you need me, but do not want me, then I will stay. When you want me, but do not need me, then I have to go."

That is a part of the scripts when Nanny McPhee warns the children on her first arrival. The movie was as great as the weather we had yesterday. The temperature was bit warm on 50s but then dropped to 30s this morning with 2 or 3 inches falling snow on the ground. The storyline of the movie is quite simple. It's about the only nanny who is able to take control of seven exceedingly ill-behaved children. How do I say the only nanny?

Because the children run off 17 previous nannies who couldn't stand to face their outrageous behaviors. Nanny McPhee has a mission to teach the kids with 5 life lessons such as: saying "please" and "thank you", going to bed exactly when they are told, getting up on time, and bearing the consequences of their actions. The parent also learns to listen to his children so he returns to being a good father to them. The peak of their misbehavior turns down to shimmer when the children decide to lie about being sick so that they can get their own way but they are suddenly tucked into bed. It seems they quickly discover the truth of the wisdom saying, "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it." Anyhow, the movie ends up with such fairy tale happiness.
We did enjoy the movie as we did enjoy the food in San Vito restaurant where we were dining at before heading to the movie. I think this is the hilarious movie of the year I've ever seen. I'd highly recommend this to people who have enjoyed 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' movie (both old and new versions) and certainly who need to laugh out loud.
My valentine's homemade cake in this picture has nothing to do with Nanny McPhee. I just want to share that I felt wonderful on Valentine's day.
Staying For Another Week

Review: Dancing with the Stars
Too sad Lisa (in right picture), a star named "Taylor McBride" of Melrose Place, couldn't make it to finale. She is the one who improved a lot better. Well, actually Stacy is the most favorite celebrity dancer I love to see from the beginning. She has always been the top of the top. I mean she got perfect scores, 30 out of 30, most of the time.

Her dance is completely stunning just like any other professional dancers. I would say Drew, a former 'boy band' star from 98 Degrees, is the best second dancer in this competition. Unfortunately Jerry Rice, a football player, is not my favorite to go to finale. It's surprising me to see the show last week that the vote results put him into one of the finalists. Is lucky factor playing in this competition? I am not sure. He might have many fans who want him to be a winner not because of his dancing performance but mostly because of his popularity in the sports world.
I can't wait to see the three finalist couples dance each with 3 dances for the season finale. I hope I won't miss the last one hour show because I must be in my church choir practice in the beginning of one hour show. Stay tune for 2 hours show this Thursday!
Never A Hug Apart

What is a romantically dysfunctional person? It's someone who is either oblivious to or non-responsive to the needs of those around him or her.

Perhaps they spend too much time on the Internet or too much time at the office and have forgotten what is really important in life. They've lost sight of the fact that jobs and Internet sites will come and go, but your family and significant others are the constants in your life. Romantic gestures are not just passionate gestures and are not limited to lovers but anyone who plays a role in your life: parents, children, siblings, friends, neighbors, co-workers and yes, even strangers.
Regardless of what a romantic is, we know that Valentine's Day celebrates the tradition of Love. Find your own unique way to show it! What works for one my not work for another. Tomorrow is the day you fulfill it with your love. Have a great Valentine's day to y'all!
A Missing Buddy Is Back
12 February, 2006
Finally she came down to the earth with no guilt on her face. This is her first appearance of the year since her last visit in December 2005. She knew many people in this area and surroundings were missing her a lot. Although she could be a harmful enemy for travelers in particular,

she keeps glowing her beauty naturally to make people in the world falling in love with her. I don't care she couldn't explain why she has disappeared quite while but I am glad she is back now. She poured out her flakes two days in a row starting last night till late morning today. Here she is the 12 inches snow in the picture coating up my rose bushes at back yard.
As I mentioned earlier that she could be our enemy in any condition, this morning I proved it true that she has ruined our regular activity. Hubby was working hard to get rid of the snow all over the car before heading to his office. No wonder he was late for work regarding to his abnormal schedule. In my side, I couldn't go to the church because the road was not cleared yet by snow removal truck

Also, I would not supposed to drive a car with no four wheel or front wheel like mine in the slippery road, otherwise I could endanger myself. I know to some of you it sounds such a cliche excuse, but I felt guilty, though, being absent of the choir and the church today. I bet many of them in the choir group didn't show up, either, like I did. In spite of her bad side, I have to admit I love snow a lot. Right now I enjoy the beauty of snow every second I can make before they get melted away and gone for indefinite time we never know for sure.
Teach Them How To Love

Gossh.. It's only the cartoon for fun, they react outrageously. What have happened to these people? Mind you to use your sense of humor? Somehow I couldn't understand what's on their minds by attacking other people who have no connection with the issue. Don't you have anything else to take care instead of fighting for nothing? Move on, guys! Life is short, life is tough and life is hard. Make it meaningful to yourself and your family!
Weird but true.. the issue has been exist last year (Sep '05) when one newspaper in Europe published the caricatures of somebody's prophet whose believers all over the world. Then the news has spread slowly over many countries just like a virus.

The controversy began on fire early this year, 5 months later after the first issue. In my opinion, there must be some group of people out of nowhere with same interest have influenced bunch of people in the same religion to start the war against other religion. Seems they were working on it so organized to make their people in every nation getting upset and encouraged them to bring up the issue emotionally in international forum. They threatened to bomb offices and churches, they acted cruel and brutal, they kidnaped some foreigners who live in hotels and apartments. What's wrong with these people? Why their mind-set is always full of evil spirit who loves fighting, hatred, brutalism, whatever you like to name it?
Our Bible says "
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also (Matthew 5:39);
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matthew 5:44)". Clearly it teaches us how to love one and another no matter what. The point of LOVE here is not merely such a requirement matter in Christianity but mostly a command that Jesus gave us to live with.
So, what's about you? Have you recognized LOVE in your faith?
More Winter To Come
03 February, 2006

I am not surprised to discover that winter will stay longer as announced yesterday on
Groundhog Day. According to the legend, if the groundhog fails to see his shadow on Feb. 2, spring is just around the corner. If, however, he does see his shadow, six more weeks of winter are in store. The groundhog weathermen called Punxsutawney Phil said he saw groundhog's shadow yesterday, so there will be six more weeks of winter.

Apart from Groundhog's rule, I could tell the winter will not end soon from weird weather we had during a month. Can you believe the temperature nowadays is as high as 50s, sometimes it reached into 60s? I feel like having early summer with this mild weather. No wonder some people say this season is the warmest winter on record. However, the temperature would drop soon very low in the Eastern part of the United States starting next week as said in weather forecast. Well, I might be wrong. Everyone know the forecast is not always right but I am ready for a cold February though!
