Unnecessary Recap

30 April, 2006

American Idol: Kellie Pickler who had never been in bottom three was sent home by America votes last week. My favorites are down to 4 now: Taylor Hicks, Elliott Yamin, Chris Daughtry, Paris Bennett. I wish all those remarkable dudes will be on top 3.

The Apprentice: Lenny, the Russian guy who has been in America for 14 years but didn't know what a jingle was, finally was fired in week 7 when they had a task to renovate a room in a Boys and Girls Club location working together with Ace Hardware. I couldn't believe it when he said jingle is something to ringing (connecting to the song "jingle bells"), meanwhile the task of week 6 was about to create a jingle for Arby's new, all-natural chicken line.

New show in TLC channel: What NOT to Wear: The reality show premise is simple: friends and family members nominate a candidate that they consider poorly dressed and ask the show to make over the "fashion victim". The candidate is given an offer a $5,000.00 budget for a new wardrobe, which they must purchase in New York City boutiques over the course of two days, but only on the condition that they allow Stacy & Clinton/ Wayne (Fashion Police) to critique, and in most cases throw out, their existing wardrobe. A very interesting show!

The Oprah show: I was surprised to find out that number of female teachers reported having secret sex at school with their students. It is absolutely a disturbing new trend. I can't understand why number of mental-sick people are growing up and up. Is it a sign of the end of the world?
